01Who you are buying from

02Placing an order
An order on this site is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract when we confirm it and hand it to a courier. Until then we may decline it — if the item has just sold out, if a price was displayed wrongly, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If money has already been taken it is refunded in full.
03Prices and taxes
Every price shown includes GST. Delivery is free on orders over ₹499. Below that a small delivery charge is shown at checkout. Cash on delivery is available: due to high demand it is confirmed with a ₹50 advance paid online, and the rest is paid when the parcel arrives. Prices can change at any time, but never after you have paid.
04Hand work is hand work
Every piece is embroidered by hand, so two pieces of the same design are never stitch-for-stitch identical, and colours on a screen can differ slightly from the fabric in daylight. That is the nature of handmade chikankari, not a defect — ask us before ordering if a shade matters to you.
05Caring for chikankari
Hand wash or gentle machine wash in cold water, separately for the first wash, and dry in shade. Iron on the reverse side. Do not bleach or wring the embroidered areas.
06Your account
Keep your password to yourself; anything ordered from a signed-in account is treated as ordered by you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access and we will sign every device out.
07Our content
The photographs, product names and wording on this site are ours. Please do not copy them onto another shop or a marketplace listing.
08What we are responsible for
Delivering what you ordered, in the condition it left us, and refunding you when we do not. We are not responsible for a courier delay outside our control, or for damage caused by washing against the care instructions.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Lucknow.
